Who are We?
We are a non-profit members only group. We are dedicated to promoting the appreciation of wine through education.
What do we do?
We hold monthly meetings where we coordinate wine tastings and provide educational materials about specific wines and the places from where they come. We occasionally have special guests or speakers with more focused knowledge about a wine production area, a region of interest, or even a particular wine. We also try to incorporate some special events throughout the year that further our knowledge and enjoyment of wine. And as always, we enjoy wine responsibly.
Can anyone come to a Fayetteville Wine Socity Meeting?
As long as you are of legal age to consume alcohol, yes, you can. However, you are limited to a maximum of three meeting before you must become an active member of both the Fayetteville Wine Society and the American Wine Society.
Wait a second, so what is The American Wine Society?
The Fayetteville Wine Society is a chapter of the American Wine Society, which is a national organization. The America Wine Society was organized in 1967 as a non-profit, educational, consumer-oriented organization for those who have similar interests.
Why are we hosting a Charity Wine Event?
It is an opportunity for us to come together and support a very worthy charity wile sharing our passion for wine and exposing or organization to others who have similar interests.
Why the USO of North Carolina?
The Military is a very important part of our community. This event is an opportunity to show our appreciation for the sacrifices of our Soldiers and their families.
